HHMIInformation Concepts worked with the Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI) to provide updates to their VoSync Application. This was originally developed as a VB6 application, which eventually was no longer supported by Microsoft and it became very difficult to maintain. Information Concepts redeveloped this as a .NET application while keeping the interface to VoSync the same, in order to prevent the calling programs from needing changed. The new VoSync application was setup to call a web service  in order to request data from Oracle. Due to this new setup, Information Concepts was able to eliminate the need for a desktop connection and removed old Oracle requirements from the desktop as well. Information Concepts also utilized Visual tools for Outlook VSTO as the model for interfacing .NET application to MS-Office.
