Information Concepts Awarded GSA IT Schedule 70
Information Concepts has been awarded a GSA IT Schedule 70 contract. The contract was awarded earlier this month, and will last for an initial period of 5 years; with the option to extend for up to 15 additional years.
“The GSA Schedule 70 gives us an important tool to offer our customers access to our services.” Said Wayne Beekman, co-founder of Information Concepts, “this vehicle allows the agencies we work with to utilize our services at competitive rates, while providing a quick and low cost procurement process.”
Mr. Beekman went on to say: “We will be focusing our efforts, using the Schedule 70, to bring our Case Management and Legacy Migration services to our federal clients. There is a huge need for case management systems for investigation and enforcement efforts in almost all of the agencies in the Federal Government. Of course, we will be offering our Planning Efforts, where we develop a prototype of a system to allow our customer to visualize the end product before they incur any development expenses.” These efforts also provide the client with a detailed project plan with a fixed cost for the development effort.
A GSA Schedule contract is an unfunded government contract that offers federal agencies optimal pricing on goods and services. There are over 60 categories that can be applied, called “schedules”. In this case, a GSA IT Schedule 70 relates to IT goods and services.
